By fully upgrading our hotel’s facilities, both structurally and decoratively, we have transformed the Kentrikon Hotel into a unique Boutique Hotel offering high-class hotel services for even the most demanding of guests. We now have new communal areas and have created new types of rooms such as executive suites, superior suites, and executive, superior and standard rooms.

History Tradition

On Pelion, one of the most beautiful Mountains of Greece, in 1937, a settlement with the name Agios Ioannis was established. Agios Ioannis is the harbour for the town of Kissos where the local boats could load fruit or timber from the wild chestnut trees still felled and used by carpenters today, and unload on the beach all sorts of merchandise, even exotic goods from the Far East.
Demetris Leventis, who was characterized as a pioneer, started building the first tourist accommodation. The original, simple accommodation was converted in the early 1950’s to a hotel with beds for fourteen guests, named Hotel Kentrikon.
